지선미는 개인의 내면과 외부 세계 사이의 모호한 이미지 작업을 하는 사진가이며, 상업 광고 사진 작업을 병행하며 활동하고 있다. 경주 대학교에서 사진영상미디어학을 전공했으며, 현재 홍익대학교 산업미술대학원 사진디자인 전공 석사 과정에 재학 중이다. 35mm 필름 카메라로 촬영하며 다중노출과 딥틱, 트립틱 형식을 활용해 이미지를 구성한다. 경계가 흐려지고 의미가 흔들릴때 스쳐지나가는 장면 속에서 간극과 흔적을 담아내고 있다.
Sunmi Ji is a photographer who creates ambiguous images that explore the space between the individual’s inner world and the external world, and she also works in commercial advertising photography. She majored in Photography and Visual Media at Gyeongju University and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Photography and Design at the Graduate School of Industrial Arts at Hongik University. She shoots with a 35mm film camera and constructs her images using multiple exposures as well as diptych and triptych formats.
She captures the gaps and traces found in fleeting scenes where boundaries blur and meanings shift.
